Our role, as a team, is to support good communications through both direct delivery and upskilling and enabling our colleagues, for example, in the use of social media and event management.
Within the team, this role is responsible for engaging with key stakeholders. The postholder will be responsible for producing newsletters and briefing materials for key stakeholders such as MPs and GPs and ensuring regular engagement with these stakeholders. They will also lead on working with colleagues to write and submit award entries on behalf of individuals and teams within the organisation.

Our Trust provides comprehensive hospital and specialist healthcare to people in the South West Peninsula. We offer a full range of general hospital services to around 450,000 local people, we are a Major Trauma Centre and we also work within a network of other hospitals to offer a range of specialist services to a population of between 700,000 and two million depending on the type of care needed, from kidney transplants to neonatal care for the most vulnerable and premature babies.

You will be a communications professional with real content curation skills across a range of media, but particularly able to demonstrate excellent written and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy meeting people, talking to them and planning and implementing communications with an organisation’s key external stakeholders.
