We are looking for a digital communications champion to support our specialist mental health and learning disabilities NHS Trust in Leeds. Working as part of our Communications Team, the Digital Communications Officer will provide specialist expertise on digital communications and marketing to the team and the organisation.
You will be, first and foremost, a communications professional with brilliant writing skills and an ability to create excellent and engaging digital content.
You will be expected to develop, manage and evaluate a range of digital communication channels and platforms including the Trust’s intranet, website, microsites, social media channels, video/audio channels and email marketing.
You will work with staff across the Trust to enable them to get the most out of digital platforms, providing training and advice, and be a key link between the Communications Team, the Trust’s in-house IT department and external suppliers. You will also recommend investment in, and develop new and innovative digital communications approaches, where appropriate.
You will provide support and advice to a range of staff and stakeholders, including senior management, project groups, service users and partner agencies.
We have recently launched a new website and intranet, and are looking to take the next steps on our digital journey. You will help hone and shape our digital communications, maximise the use of our existing and emerging channels and help others to take advantage of them.
