Communications Officer (Copywriting and internal communications)
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
£35,564 per annum
Closing date: 7 November 2018 at 12 noon
We’re looking for someone with fantastic copywriting and organisational skills to be part of the team bringing one of the largest and most ambitious regeneration projects in the world to life – Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in the heart of east London. Once the site of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Park now attracts over six million visitors a year, and is home to world-class sporting and music events, major new business districts and a growing residential community – as well as being the site for East Bank, the capital’s most exciting new cultural and education development.
The Communications Officer will be a key part of the team producing some of the Park’s most engaging consumer collateral – from magazines to events leaflets – encouraging Londoners and tourists alike to visit one of the UK’s leading attractions. They’ll also work on a range of community and corporate materials, from newsletters to development brochures, and be a key part of the London Legacy Development Corporation’s internal communications team, helping engage staff through a range of channels.
Digital skills are a must, as the Communications Officer will manage the intranet on a day-to-day basis, as well as produce and edit website copy, and be part of the wider social media content team. It’s a great role for an all-rounder with an eye for detail, looking to work on one of London’s most high profile projects.
