Communications Officer – Campaigns
Salary: G7 £23,866.00 per annum
37 hours per week.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic communications professional to join our fast-paced communications service.
The Communications Officer (Campaigns) will have responsibility for assisting in the development and delivery of an effective and efficient external communications service for the Council.
You will have up to date knowledge of communications strategies, excellent social media experience and a good understanding of the role of external communications and engagement in a large organisation.
You will have detailed experience of writing and editing copy for a wide range of internal and external communications channels. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with people at all levels are essential, as well as being able to work on your own initiative when needed.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to contribute to the successful delivery of staff communications and engagement across the Council. As part of the communications service you will help deliver the Council's key priorities and build its reputation with employees, residents and partners.
