An exciting position has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Specialist professional to join our team at Eastleigh Borough Council.
We are seeking a talented marketing professional with a track record of planning and implementing effective and engaging marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. This role plays a key part in communicating with the public through the development and delivery of creative and engaging marketing campaigns that promote the Council’s services and products.
This is an interesting and varied role, working across many services and projects across the Council. From the branding and promotion of our two country parks to working as part of a project team to develop our websites, working with partners and other teams on a variety of health & wellbeing, public health, recycling or behaviour change campaigns, your expert knowledge would be used to design campaigns using insights and data to target and engage the public, encouraging across a range of platforms from print to digital and social media channels.
You will be a creative copywriter and adept at generating high-quality, customer-focused digital content for a wide range of audience groups. With experience of using data and analytics to inform, measure and refine digital marketing activities, you will also have experience of managing multiple social media channels, including issue resolution.
Overseeing three team members (2 x Graphic Designers and a Marketing Officer) you will know how to nurture, develop and inspire staff to get the best out of the team.

Sitting within the Strategy Directorate of the Council, this role will give you the opportunity to work across a diverse range of teams, events and projects across the council.
