Salary: Grade 9 £15,713 - £17,624 (Actual salary)

Doncaster Council is looking for a talented Communications and Engagement Officer to join a small team that will work on all communications for the People (Adults and Children) Directorate on a part-time basis.
With a primary focus on how we support adults and young people, you will be responsible for showcasing how we are changing social care and education and learning opportunities, for example, with some exciting developments ahead such as the new Advanced Engineering and Digital Design University Technical College (UTC), Your Life Doncaster supporting independent living.
You will be required to work across all communications disciplines including marketing, PR, advertising, digital communications, web and social media and must be a versatile team player.
You must be self-motivated and have the ability to drive creativity and innovation as well as adapting to changing priorities in a deadline driven environment. The chosen candidate should also have the skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders, partners and senior colleagues. You must be able to handle more than one project at at time.
A track record of delivering complex and varied integrated communications campaigns and projects is essential alongside experience of advising senior management/members on key or crisis communications matters.
Shortlisting will take place week commencing 3 September and it is anticipated that interviews/assessments will take place w/c 17 September 2018.
