An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Communications team for a Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager. We have an ambitious programme of regeneration and activity and this role is pivotal to delivering high quality communications and engagements across two of our key Capital Delivery Schemes: the Town Hall Campus regeneration, and EMD Cinema.
When engaging with stakeholders, you’ll use your expertise and creativity to lead on the engagement strategy and delivery of targeted, cost effective and imaginative communications campaigns, both internal for staff, management and Cabinet Members, and externally for local residents, businesses and industry.
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of stakeholder engagement theories and practices with a highly developed understanding of audience needs. You need to be highly organised and confident in managing a diverse programme of work to deliver results through effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to process complex information and present targeted messages to different audiences.
