We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and creative internal communications officer to take up this secondment as a learning opportunity and work in our busy communications team building on the existing connection that our colleagues have to their work, co-workers and NELFT as a whole.
The role will include the production of the NELFT weekly newsletter and using social media channels to target key staff groups.
The successful candidate will also be working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, with a focus on increasing communications and engagement across the whole organisation whilst supporting the delivery of Trust-wide internal projects such as the staff health and wellbeing programme, staff survey and flu vaccination programme. The successful candidate will be supported by the rest of the team in the delivery of these programmes.
You will be highly organised with an innovative approach to delivery and a strong, dynamic and confident team player who is able to grow, build and maintain relationships with team and service leads across the Trust.
High levels of customer service are a must alongside attention to detail. You will be able to juggle competing priorities and have a positive outlook in an environment of constant change.

Assessment/Interview
At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2.
