We are looking for someone who can bring a wealth of experience in digital communications to join our team as our Senior Communications Officer, based at Queen’s Hospital in Romford.
You will play a vital role within our busy Communications and Engagement team, bringing your knowledge and creativity to support the ongoing improvements to our website, intranet and social media channels.
And, we’re currently trying to get on top of our finances. That means we’re in the spotlight, with lots of scrutiny – from our local public, the media, our staff and partners. So, we’re working hard on our reputation – which gives you the opportunity to take the lead on creating and running effective multi-channel campaigns that effectively target a wide range of stakeholders including our staff and community.
With the support of the Communications Manager, you will take the lead of the day-day running of our website, and intranet and advising the rest of the team on the effective monitoring, development and evaluation of social media channels. You will be an effective team player who can work with colleagues across our Trust to ensure they get the best out of our digital channels and build a network of people who develop effective content for digital channels.
You will need to have an excellent understanding of how digital and social media can help people achieve their business objectives as well as a technical understanding and ability to develop and implement simple digital solutions.
In addition you’ll need to be able to work in a pressurised environment, with an ability to juggle a lot of balls at any one time.
