Creativity Lab 2 is going to be a unique opportunity to hear from creative, advertising and branding agencies on their secrets and top tips to delivering your best creative work.
Make sure it’s in your diary…
by Darren Caveney
I’m the first to want and create a smart comms plan to give us the chance of achieving the best results. But creativity can be squeezed out of some planning frameworks and approaches and in busy teams with competing demands.
So for the second Creativity Lab I wanted to bring in top agency talent to hear from them on how they cope with the pressure and expectation of always being creative for their clients. What can we learn from them and apply to our own work? I believe we can take inspiration, lessons and tips from them but many public sector comms teams now don’t have the budgets and opportunities to do this.
So Creativity Lab 2 gives us all that opportunity for some invaluable free learning.
First up are the creative double act and brains behind the multi award-winning One Black Bear, Jon Harrison and Rich Elwell. I’ve known Jon and Rich for 20 years now - they’re two of the most creative people I know, and they have a wall full of industry awards to prove it. One Black Bear are Birmingham’s largest independent agency.
Next up we have UnAward-winning Kathy Kyle of Digi Kind. Kathy is leading the way of the High Street recovery comms and marketing in several UK towns right now including the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Kathy won best agency at the 2019 UnAwards.
And lasty I can announce the talented director at Alive with Ideas, and Comms Unplugged favourite, Alan Oram. Alan and the team set out to “create great work with great people”. And they have certainly done that.
Got a question for our agencies?
Send them to me now at darrencaveney@gmail.com
And then Andy Lambert from ContentCal and myself will be pitching the questions to our panel.
Creativity Lab 2 takes place on Wednesday 26 May, 12 noon, and is £FREE to attend. I know right. It’s for all in-house comms and pr teams ( not agencies and consultants, thanks)
You can join over 200 of your comms peers HERE.
