Purpose of the job
We are looking for a highly capable, motivated, and public service oriented Growth Marketing Manager with a proven track record and bags of initiative. We need someone with the passion to help drive growth and improve the lives of those on the lowest incomes in the UK.
This role requires an experienced B2B marketer to grow our audience and brand visibility through our events and social media programmes. Working alongside the Chief Marketing Ofcer and the wider marketing team, your dynamic, results orientated approach will enable you to successfully balance practical event management with creative social media strategies to help deliver our broader business objectives.
You will lead the planning and delivering our events and webinar programmes, overseeing every aspect from high level strategy to on the ground implementation. Your commercial acumen and attention to detail will be key to driving brand awareness and generating marketing qualified leads for sales colleagues.
In parallel, you will also own and manage our social media presence, crafting and executing innovative strategies to grow and engage our online audiences. Your creativity and up to date social media expertise will be instrumental in maintaining an active, inuential presence for our brand across key platforms.
You’ll join as a crucial member of our small but mighty marketing team and work closely with sales, client services, policy, and technical colleagues to build strong presence, amplify our impact and achieve measurable results.

Main accountabilities
1. Events: Plan and execute our attendance at sector events, optimising lead generation and reducing the cost per lead. Manage all logistics with support from a marketing apprentice and collaborate with cross functional teams to maximise ROI
2. Webinars: Plan our monthly webinar programme; host and execute engaging webinars to educate and engage our target audience. Help shape the storyboard and secure speakers, both internal and external. Coordinate with internal teams and external speakers for webinar content to maximise lead generation
3. Speaking engagements: Identify and secure speaking opportunities at industry events and conferences. Work with our speakers and policy subject matter experts to develop compelling presentations that showcase our expertise and thought leadership
4. Social media strategy: Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with our marketing goals. Plan, create and schedule content across our platforms and use analytics to optimise engagement, reach and impact
5. Social media execution: Manage day to day social media interactions, actively engage with followers, respond to enquiries and foster a positive, inclusive online presence on our platforms. Lead targeted social media campaigns to grow our audience and increase brand visibility
Other duties
● Work closely with marketing colleagues to deliver the marketing goals to build brand awareness, grow our audience, create sales leads and support retention
● Deliver our strategic messages and champion their promotion in all our work
● Support the senior team in the development and execution of business strategy
● Other marketing activities as directed by the CMO
