Our busy team is looking for a senior creative communicator to join us in our journey to deliver brilliant, engaging and effective comms with all of our residents, businesses and other stakeholders.
This role requires a talented communicator with a passion for changing lives for the better, skilled in creating and delivering impactful, insight led comms plans and campaigns.
You’ll have a strong communications background and will be comfortable and knowledgeable using social media, web, email, media, paid-for advertising. This involves using other channels and platforms – including emerging AI technologies.
You’ll be a natural storyteller. Managing priorities and multiple projects effectively will be key and you’ll need to be politically astute and comfortable advising at a senior level.
You’ll know how to liaise with local and national media, and you’ll be great at spotting opportunities to promote both the Council and the place.
Our Senior Communications Officer roles have a particular focus, shaped around their strengths.
