The Candidate:
We’re looking for an aspirational communications and marketing specialist with experience of using a broad range of marketing and communication techniques to create, deliver and evaluate campaigns.
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager or equivalent with a flair for marketing, a track record of creating great PR campaigns and expertise in building brands.
The successful candidate will report into the Head of Marketing and Brand and will have the ability to inspire and develop our communications and marketing approach
Key Responsibilities include:
Working with the Head of Marketing & Brand to shape campaign plans, identifying opportunities to promote the Council and the borough
Leading and managing key council campaigns utilising communications and marketing plans
Developing income generation initiatives through the promotion of events and services
Working with our Press and Social Media manager to ensure campaigns are integrated to achieve maximum impact
Helping to manage the reputation of the Council through focusing on proactive & reactive PR and media relations
Undertaking robust evaluation of all campaign activity and utilising learnings to shape future activity
Leading the implementation of the brand strategy and ensuring the brand identity is used at all touchpoints
Supporting the wider Communications and Marketing team goals and help raise the team’s profile within the organisation
