We're looking for an experienced communications professional to become our Communications and Marketing Business Partner for Adult Social Care. Essential for this role is an individual who is skilled in media relations, a creative thinker and someone who is experienced in developing and delivering compelling communication and marketing campaigns.
This newly created role means that the communications professional can join at an exciting time with the ability to help shape the approach.
We are looking for someone who is used to working with the media, a strong writer and experience of using a broad range of communications and marketing techniques to create, deliver and evaluate campaigns. Feeling confident in leading the communications agenda is key.
You will become an important part of our talented communications team, building relationships with colleagues in Adult Social Care and often working closely with senior officers and elected members.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support the wider Communications and Marketing team goals and help raise the team’s profile within the organisation
Leading key council communications and marketing campaigns
Developing proactive media relations to showcase Council services and projects
Campaign planning and evaluation
Content creation
Organising and running press and promotional events
Media monitoring and handling media issues
