Job description
We’re looking for a Marketing Officer with a diverse range of interests. If you’re passionate about serving your local community, the natural environment, culture and creativity, we’d love you to join our hard-working, warm and friendly centralised marketing team.
The successful applicant will assist the Marketing Business Partner in the day-to-day development and delivery of marketing campaigns to target new, and retain existing, audiences. This involves working closely with a range of internal and external teams, juggling multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
The role involves delivering organic and paid social media content, writing blog articles, creating e-newsletters, compiling campaign performance reports, creating and proofing artwork as well as getting to produce fun and engaging film and photo content for use across our digital channels.
We require someone who is passionate, pro-active and solution-focused with excellent time management skills and an eye for detail. While you will be working in a collaborative environment, you will need to be able to think independently and take initiative. Strong copywriting skills and experience in digital marketing are essential.
This is a full-time permanent position, 37 hours a week. The role may require some evening and weekend work depending on planned events, so some flexibility in working hours is required along with the ability to travel around the city.
